We are looking for Feedback for the User group Website Manager Application ( Not just for “Coldfusion” user groups ). If you are interested in the CHUG application and it is missing something that is stopping you from using it for your user group website, or you just want to give us some feedback, we are interested in your comments.
Coldfusion User Group Manager is a CFML application originally designed to help Adobe ColdFusion User Group managers run their user group web site and manage members, speakers, and other user group data. This application was originally created by Matt Woodward for the Capitol Hill User Group, hence the nickname “CHUG.”
CHUG is easily skinned, i18n capable, and leverages the Mach-II and ColdSpring frameworks.
Additionally, if you wish to get started with this Application but your not sure where to start, leave a comment, and I will do my best to get you on track.
Edit: Sorry, here is the link to the Google Code project http://code.google.com/p/chug/
How about information on where to get this application in the first place?
I’ve got some basic docs started for this – and I’ve got a cleaned up mySQL script to create the tables… At some point I’ll add these to the CHUG wiki.
@Lola
probably the best way to find it is:

hope this helps
Sorry Lota, Thanks Barry. I have added the link to the original post. http://code.google.com/p/chug/
Thanks.
We’re starting the rebuild of our community with CHUG as the base project. I’v e checked it out and checked it in to our own repository, and would like to contribute back the functionality we add on.
Since ours is a collaborative community project, including the database, I was thinking about porting the database to Derby. Does anyone have advice/suggestions regarding this, or another rdbms that lends itself to collaborative design?
